JLPT N4: What to Expect and How to Prepare
If you’ve completed the basics of Japanese, the JLPT N4 is the next big milestone. At this level, you’ll move beyond simple self-introductions and everyday phrases into more natural conversations, longer grammar patterns, and a much larger vocabulary.
While N4 is still considered an elementary level, many learners find it noticeably more challenging than N5 because you’re expected to understand more complex sentence structures and read longer passages.
